The Creatopia Village is designed so we can learn about Creativity while being creative, together.
So, it offers all Creatology classes to everyone in the Village.
As Creatives, we need to develop our creative, self-based practices.
One of them is Self-Direction.
It’s an essential practice to master because, amongst other things, it helps us to follow our own creative direction, reducing our need to seek leadership from others and potentially the amount of power we give away, while increasing our ability to trust our insights, intuitions, and our ability to respond to our creativity.
Creatology classes range from what creativity is and how it works, to our creative capabilities and creative practices, and how co-creativity works.
In Creatopia, we have to access Creatology classes.
However, we are not obliged to participate in any. They are simply there if we want or need them.
We are able to pick and choose the classes we wish to take, either live or recorded or prerecorded,
when it suits us, our commitments, our projects, and our inklings.
Or not! Creatology is completely optional but encouraged!
As each class is completed, we receive a badge. There is no time limit to complete all classes.
Once all badges are collected, we are able to qualify for the Creatology Award, if we’d like it, assuming we have a project to present.

The Creatology Award is optional and included
- Use your Creatopia social profile with links to your other profiles, projects, shops, websites, etc
- Creatology is fully optional
- Choose any or no Creatology classes depending on your needs and interest, live or recorded
- Collect a badge for each class
- Self-direct and self-pace the optional Creatology Award with no time limit
- Create projects… an old, new, collab, or dream
- Find out who is in your area
- Collaborate with others on your projects and theirs
- Share your work for feedback and to generate ideas
- Use project progress-logs to stay on track
- Participate in chat groups to learn from others and share your insights
- Participate in co-creative experiences
- Receive support in Project Prods
- Receive support in Enterprise Eggs
- Learn more about creativity from media in the Library
- Explore the grit in random PoP-Up Topics
- Participate in Creatopia Collab podcasts, and
- Shape our community in whole-village meetings.
The Creatology Award
- Choose the classes that serve you best at the time
- Receive a badge for each completed class
- Choose the pace you move through the classes (no time limit)
- Complete the Creatology Curriculum by collecting all the badges.
Once all badges are collected, you’ll be invited to a Presentation Ceremony if you wish to graduate with the Creatology Award.
Present your project and a self-evaluation at an online Presentation Ceremony in the Cermony Garden in the Village. It is held two weeks after your last class to ensure you have the time to complete your self-evaluation and project, or the project’s current stage, and prepare your 10 minute presentation of these.
